In fact, founder Ben McKean was all too familiar with the experience of standing in the grocery aisle with a basket full of random ingredients and zero plan. After yet another lackluster takeout dinner, he finally had enough. Why can’t healthy be easy? At Hungryroot, we believe healthy eating can be simple, convenient, and delicious, and we’ve made that a reality for people across the country. Based in New York City, our team spends our days researching foods we think our customers will love, tweaking our digital experience to make it even more seamless, and taste-testing upcoming dishes (yes, we love our jobs!). We’re a diverse crew—including former gymnasts, amateur astrologists, and Jurassic Park superfans. What we have in common: a love of nutritious food, and its ability to make you feel incredible.
