How to compare one brand across affiliate networks

Confirm the brand identity first, then compare commission, markets, attribution and promotion rules on the same basis. Brand pages collect cooperation entry points; programme pages explain the terms from one source.

Confirm the brand and website

Similar brand names or a shared parent company do not establish an identical programme. Check the brand website, then inspect programme names and actual markets. Keep regional rates and terms separate.

Match qualifying events and units

Sales percentages, lead commissions and fixed action rewards cannot be ranked on one scale. Check units and currencies, then product groups, customer types and tier thresholds. Treat unspecified units as unknown.

Separate attribution, validation and payment

An attribution window concerns when eligible conversions may be credited. Validation, holds and payment timings concern confirmation or settlement. Historical attribution estimates and contractual Cookie terms are different; a longer number alone does not establish a better plan.

Check promotion methods and source scope

Review brand bidding, non-brand search, coupons and other traffic methods separately. A rate visible to one source account is not guaranteed to every applicant. Check market restrictions, approvals and additional conditions.

Confirm using current information

When a comparison shows missing, stale, conflicting or unavailable information, inspect the programme’s check date and sources. Confirm applications, permissions and settlement with the network. Listing counts do not establish complete verification.

Checklist

  • Have you checked the brand and website?
  • Are actions, currencies, units and markets comparable?
  • Have you separated reference terms, verified terms and check dates?
